Are you an art enthusiast? Transform yourself into an art professional!

The field of arts offers diverse career opportunities. Our master's program helps you gain a clear understanding of the opportunities provided by the contemporary art scene and provides a solid foundation and appropriate competencies for your future career.

Professional perspectives are broad. You can become a curator, cultural manager, museum educator, gallery director, art critic, art writer, art event organizer, and so on.

PROFESSIONAL STUDY TRIPS

We are at home in Europe. We regularly organize study trips for our students to the Venice Biennale and to cities hosting significant exhibitions, biennials, and fairs (e.g., Vienna, Budapest, Ljubljana, Bratislava, Debrecen, Timișoara, Cluj-Napoca, etc.).

Charming Oradea

Oradea is the jewel of western Romania, a city of Art Nouveau architecture, with a pleasant atmosphere, friendly people, great places, and diverse cultural heritage. It is, in itself, an artistic case study.  It is ideal for those who envision their studies in an inspiring, pleasant, affordable, yet thoroughly Western city.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
The general subjects of the program (such as art philosophy, modern and contemporary art history, theory of visual culture, art and social context) provide theoretical background. The program focuses on contemporary phenomena, thus several courses discuss these developments (e.g., new trends in visual arts, theories and practices of contemporary art institutions, art in the digital world). Specialization (either in art management, curatorial work, or museum education) is provided by two optional modules taught by practising professionals.
