“Napoleon: Blood and Laurel” is a historically inspired comic created with the aim of making Napoleon’s story more accessible and popular within printed pop culture. The comic portrays the rise of one of history’s most renowned military leaders, Napoleon Bonaparte, in a personal and intimate way. Its narrative not only revives historical events, but also offers insight into the inner world of its protagonist, Napoleon. By shedding light on the human side of the famous commander, the work brings this historical figure closer to the people of our time.
