SzéfEd is a visually conscious educational platform that responds to the shortcomings of sexual education in the Hungarian social context. The initiative aims to create a safe, inclusive and easy-to-understand information environment for young people, especially in environments where sexual education is marginalized due to conservative political or religious reasons.
The name SzéfED is a playful fusion of the words “széf” (as a protected space) and “education”, thus emphasizing the project’s core values: safety, knowledge, accessibility. The visual identity and user-friendly website support the transfer of information in an interactive way, and the goal is to create a visual language that is at once understandable, attractive and taboo-free.
