The culture of Szeklerland carries an abundance of values that are starting to fade from public consciousness. The goal of the Folk Fusion, a fictitious heritage revitalisation organisation, is to breathe new life into these values through graphic design, bridging the past with the contemporary demands. Many efforts are made to involve people in the world of Székely traditions, but few seek to bring folk art into people's daily lives. This encounter helps revive and preserve this rich cultural heritage.

Visual Identity
The identity of FOLK FUSION is built upon traditional Secler motifs and ornamentation. The goal was to create an identity that emerges from the fusion of traditions and contemporary trends, reflecting a youthful and modern appearance. The central element of the identity is a modular logo, constructed from interchangeable modules, allowing for dynamic usage.
Secler motifs
Secler grave markers are traditional wood carvings of the Secler people, located in the eastern part of Transylvania, Romania. These grave markers feature distinctive Secler motifs and decorations, and they are an important part of Székely culture. The significance of Secler grave markers in the Transylvanian Secler community endures to this day. These carvings serve as reminders of the past and the deceased, firmly embedded in the identity and cultural heritage of the Székely people. The grave markers and the ornamentation and carvings on them not only serve a decorative role but also hold important symbolic values. An individual's entire life and family structure can be traced along a grave marker. Among other things, one can determine the person's age, family structure, and they may reflect personality traits and societal values, such as a soldier, military leader, or learned individual.
