Based on the Graphic Design Bachelor's programme in Fine Arts – Graphics, the Visual Communication master's program, with its in-depth curriculum, enables students to master the theory and practice of visual communication at a higher level. With the guidance of their selected mentors, students can begin independent artistic research work. Throughout the master's programme, there is a strong emphasis on experimentation, responsible, and creative planning. The project-based education in the field allows students to gain experience through professional programs, exhibitions, collaborations, and networking. This work is not only important for graphic designers or animators but also for artists who wish to excel in some branch of contemporary art.

Creative research in graphic design, advertising history, alternative packaging design, publication design, alternative techniques in visual arts, intermedia, multimedia, experimental media, audiovisual arts, ethical use of resources, visual culture, contemporary aesthetic theories, contemporary philosophical theories. Optional subjects: advertising photography, computer animation.

Teacher training
The Department for Teacher Training of the Partium Christian University in Oradea provides basic and in-depth teacher training for those who wish to enroll in the Level I and II pedagogical modules during their studies, moreover postgraduate training for those who decide to enter the teaching profession after completing their university studies. It is a complementary module to any major.
Partium Language Center
The Partium Language Center organizes language courses and specialized language courses for all age groups, at all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) — in English, German, French, Italian, Hungarian, and Romanian. It also provides students and residents of the region with the preparation and examination for the Partium, Cambridge, and ECL language examinations (English, German, French); additionally translation and interpretation services too.
Science
Scientific and artistic research is a permanent feature of the PCU’s activities, involving both our teachers and students. Over the years, several research groups have been set up, either within departments or through interdepartmental collaboration, to regularly carry out research projects, conferences, and other specialized programs.
Arany János Dormitory
The dormitory located in the city centre offers not only accommodation but also dining and laundry options for university students at affordable prices. Additionally, it provides peaceful study conditions and Wi-Fi access. Also, within the dormitory building, there is a Student Club where students can chat over coffee, tea, or soft drinks and play table football.
