"Andrea Tankó's work encourages us not to be mere external observers of problems" – we presented the short story collection "Children of the Wrinkle"
Andrea Tankó's collection of short stories provides a powerful and heart-wrenching portrait of the situation of Roma communities living on the margins of society. Her book "Children of the Wrinkle" was also presented at PCU on April 15. On behalf of Újvárad, Henriette Kemenes and László Szűcs talked with the author, and finally our third-year social work students Zselyke Gyenes and Katalin Sándor took over the role of interviewers. Below we present their book recommendations.
