Biography
AU Ho Lam, Suzanne was born in Hong Kong. She is a ceramist, pioneered the art of spiritual teaching and founder of Loofah Light Ceramics®. She is renowned in deconstructing and reconstructing material’s structure and form, demonstrating artwork’s diversity and dexterity by the textures of matters. Her creativity integrates ceramic, crafts and materials as the medium between the state of nature, space and human’s inner being.
Suzanne has been invited to share her experience and techniques at international ceramic collaborations and symposiums. Her artworks have been selected by Biennale, international museums and private collections across the world. Since 2019 she has participated in Hong Kong rural sustainable projects with the goal to promote and preserve traditional art and ceramics cultures for both local and overseas descendants by incorporating interdisciplinary art and communal activities. In 2024 Suzanne published her series of books "Mauolah Seeing Orbs of Lights", "Mauolah Sound of Golden Vibes" and "Mauolah Loofah Light Bone China", and began to conduct sharing sessions globally to focus on the human's consciousness and the process of transformation art.
