"My work explores the ways we see, process, and interact with images in an era of overwhelming visual information. In "Off in the Distance," I engage with pixelated images, surveillance footage, and historical photographs, thinking about how the documentation we consume today will eventually become historical record. As we sift through the constant influx of images, I am interested in how this affects our understanding of history, our emotional responses, and the way we physically see the world."
