For the PCU delegation, the conference provided valuable experiences and insights into the latest methods and challenges in social work.
The first part of the day featured inspiring presentations. One of the most outstanding was given by Rita Dallos, who emphasized the importance of intergenerational relationships and the social integration of the elderly. We also found András Csepregi’s presentation on autism and ADHD particularly interesting, as it highlighted the acceptance of neurodiversity and the development of social services tailored to special needs.
During the afternoon workshops, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge interactively. Our university representatives took great interest in the session on active aging, which showcased experience-based methods for elderly care. The methodological demonstration of dance therapy was also insightful, highlighting the positive effects of movement and music on the mental and physical state of the elderly.
We are also looking for relevant solutions to improve social care in Partium, which is why we are grateful for the opportunity to participate and be inspired by this conference once again!
