During her short visit Her Excellency was received by our Rector and then she talked with the English majors and visited our library.
The majority of the students present at the discussion were surprised by her kindness and the Ambassador gained the sympathy of students and teachers alike.She briefly presented her career and her aims as an Ambassador, and then student had the opportunity to ask questions. Most of the students were interested in the possibilities of learning and working in Canada. At the end of the discussion she received a present from the students made by one of them, and she promised when she next comes to Oradea, she would stay for a longer period of time.
Following the visit at PCU, the Ambassador visited the Local Government and few local companies, including Celestica, the only Canadian company in Oradea.
Seeing her briefly at PCU we hope that Her Excellency will honor us with her presence soon, for a longer time so that we can have the possibility to have a more detailed discussion.
